Requirements:
- 120 lvl
- DACC
- Pokemon with ability “surf”
- Pokemon with ability “fly”
- Pokemon wih ability “rock smash”
- Having done Amphy Quest,
- Items: 50 iman, 30 white powder, 300 screw, 10 skarmory's wing, 8 steelix's tail, 20 steel orb i 1 iron plate.
Sliph’s Experiment
Start in Goldenrod City. Go to scientist Nicholas, who needs help in the new experiment related to evolution of steel pokemon. If you are a well experienced trainer, he will hire you as his assistant. You have to do some missions for him.
Mission 1
At the beginning, we have to accept to take a part in experiment.
Mission 2
Do reaserch about some steel pokemon (dex them). It is: Magnemite, Magnetone, Forretress, Scizor, Steelix and Skarmory.
Mission 3
You have to get the mineral badge. To get it, you have to defeat the gym leader of Olivine City and to be able to do it, you need to have Amphy Quest done.
Mission 4
Npc asks you to bring him some items:
50 iman – can be dropped by magnemite, magnetone and magnezone
30 white powder – can be obtained through minning
Mission 5
You will receive a steel gem 
to save with you. You also have to bring Nicholas a Magnemite with level 40, because he would like to see, how it will behave during the experiment.
Mission 6
You need to be of level 120.

You have again to bring some items, this time a little bit more:

10 skarmory’s wing – can be dropped from skarmory
8 steelix’s tail – can be dropped from Steelix
20 steel orb – can be dropped from steel pokemon
1 iron plate – can be dropped from steel pokemon
Mission 9
You have to find enchanted steel gem 
, which has been lost by Joe – another helper of Sliph.
Go to olivine and follow the map below.
Fly up and enter through the hole in the mountain. Follow the maps below.
You will find the gem in a bag.
Rewards
Go back to Nicholas and give him the gem. Happy of successful experiment will reward you with Metal coat, 200 HD, 3 rare candies and 50,000 experience.
